Transport & Logistic Harbour Employee Amsterdam

What you will do

As a Transport & Logistics Harbor Employee, you ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. You are responsible for stocking and transporting materials, food, and orders between our harbors, offices, and locations in Amsterdam. You drive a van through (among others) the Amsterdam city center and ensure that everything arrives on time and neatly at the right place. Additionally, you support logistical activities on location. Thanks to your efforts, our teams on the water and in the office can continue working without problems.

Your activities include, among others:

• Stocking harbors and locations;

• Picking up and delivering food, orders, and materials;

• Transport between harbors and offices;

• Light logistical support work on location;

• Ensuring a tidy, safe, and organized work environment.

Practical Information

• Base: Staverno, Amsterdam West

• Hours: ± 20 hours per week

• Hourly wage: €14.06 (19 years) – €18.14 (21+) gross (all-in), depending on age and experience

• Working hours: 4 hours per day, from 10:00 – 14:00

• Employment: Part-time

• Start date: In consultation

Job Requirements

You are a practical go-getter who likes to be on the road and takes responsibility. Additionally, you recognize yourself in the following:

• You speak Dutch and/or English;

• You are at least 19 years old;

• You are in possession of a driving license B;

• You have driving experience with a van, preferably in the Amsterdam city center;

• You are independent, reliable, and proactive;

• You work accurately and safely;

• Experience in logistics or transport is a plus.
