What will you do 

As a guide at Flagship Bike Tours Amsterdam, you will take guests on a journey of discovery through Amsterdam and its surroundings. During our bike and walking tours, you will show them not only the well-known sights but also hidden gems and special places they might otherwise never discover. Some tours even go from the city out into the countryside, giving guests the chance to experience a completely different side of the area. In addition to our regular tours, we also offer food tours, where you will take guests to a variety of surprising and delicious food spots. This way, you make every tour a fun, varied, and unforgettable experience. 

Practical information 

• Location: Amsterdam 

• Employment type: Part-time (8–40 hours per week, flexible availability) based on a zero-hour contract 

• Working hours: Days, evenings, and weekends 

Your responsibilities 

• Welcoming guests and ensuring a smooth check-in before the tour; 

• Guiding small groups during bike, walking, and food tours through Amsterdam and surrounding area-; 

• Sharing stories, historical facts, and local tips in a fun and accessible way; 

• Leading guests past the city’s most beautiful sights during bike and walking tours; 

• Visiting a range of cosy food spots during food tours and introducing guests to the flavours of Amsterdam; 

• Answering questions and giving personal recommendations for restaurants and highlights in the city; 

• Making every tour warm, enjoyable, and unforgettable.

• Interview on location; 

• Trial working day; 

• Contract & first working day. 

Requirements

• Available immediately, at least two days per week, including one weekend day; 

• Available in the evenings, during peak season, and on public holidays; 

• Energetic, social, and enthusiastic when interacting with people; 

• Good command of the English language (Dutch, French, German, or Spanish is a plus); 

• Comfortable cycling through Amsterdam and safely guiding a group; 

• A natural storyteller who knows how to engage guests; 

• Experience in guiding, hospitality, or tourism is a plus; 

• You are 18 years or older.
