Flagship Amsterdam is a young, fast-growing shipping company in the heart of Amsterdam. We offer both public and private cruises on our beautiful open sloops and classic salon boats. What started in 2017 with three boats has now grown to over 60 vessels, and we continue to expand! Every year, we welcome guests from more than 55 different countries, and we operate year-round. We do this with a young and ambitious team of over 800 (seasonal) employees.

Today, Flagship Amsterdam consists of nine different entities, such as Voyage Amsterdam and Captain Jack. Each entity offers a unique product and serves specific target audiences. We have a true growth mindset and are constantly looking for new opportunities to further strengthen our position in the market.

To support our Internal Communication team, we are looking for a creative Visual Communication Assistant. In this role, you help bring internal stories, trainings, and updates to life through visuals and videos.

What will you do?

As Visual Communication Assistant, you will:

• Design and build online internal trainings;

• Create visual internal communication materials (mainly using Canva);

• Film short videos with your phone at different Flagship locations (boats, docks, office, shipyard);

• Edit videos in DaVinci Resolve;

• Work independently to gather video and visual content from daily operations;

• Contribute to the monthly Flagship News by creating, editing, and publishing content;

You don’t need to know everything yet. We’re looking for someone who’s motivated to learn, open to feedback, and eager to grow quickly within design and video. That mindset is what matters most to us.

Who are you?

You are creative, proactive, and enjoy making information clear, visual, and engaging. Ideally, you:

• Have an interest in graphic design and video production;

• Are comfortable working with Canva;

• Enjoy filming and editing videos (or are eager to learn);

• Can work independently and take initiative;

• Are flexible in your availability;

• Are studying or recently graduated in a creative, media, or communication-related field (a plus, not required).
