About Flagship Amsterdam

Flagship Amsterdam is a young, fast-growing canal cruise company located in the heart of Amsterdam. We offer both public and private cruises on our beautiful open boats and classic saloon boats. What started in 2017 with just three boats has now grown to a fleet of over 60 boats, and we continue to expand! Every year, we welcome guests from more than 55 different countries, and we operate year-round. This is made possible by our young and ambitious team of over 400 (seasonal) employees.

Flagship Amsterdam consists of nine different entities, such as Voyage Amsterdam and Captain Jack. Each entity has unique products and caters to a specific target audience. We have a strong growth mindset and are constantly seeking new opportunities to further strengthen our position in the market.

What will you be doing?

During your internship you will support the Operations team and act as an important point of contact for our skippers, hosts, and quay staff. You will help create schedules, assist with daily planning, and contribute ideas for organizing events. You will also work closely with other teams within Flagship Amsterdam and take part in daily troubleshooting on the canals.

Your responsibilities

• Support the Operations team in their daily tasks;

• Assist with logistical planning and staff scheduling;

• Handle the Operations email inbox and phone;

• Help solve last-minute challenges;

• Support the preparation and execution of events;

• Contribute to special projects within the Operations team.

Position requirements

• HBO or WO student;

• You are fluent in spoken and written English. Dutch skills are welcome, but not essential;

• You are preferably available to start in February 2026 or earlier;

• You are available for a minimum of 3 months;

• You are looking for a hands-on internship; this position is not suitable for a graduation internship;

• You preferably live in Amsterdam or the surrounding area;

• You have strong organizational skills and always maintain a customer-friendly attitude.
