What will you do?

Are you looking for an active part-time job in Amsterdam where you stay busy and no day is the same? As a Runner at Flagship Amsterdam, you play an essential role in our daily operation. You make sure our boats, locations and teams have everything they need at the right moment to give guests an unforgettable canal cruise through Amsterdam.

During your shift, you will be on the move throughout the city and work in different places: at the office, on the dock and around our boats. You will restock the boats, deliver materials, run errands when something is missing and support your colleagues wherever needed.

Availability: You mainly work during weekends, which is the basis of this role

Practical information

• Restocking our boats and locations;

• Lifting and moving crates and other heavy materials;

• Running errands, for example when ice or mint needs to be replenished;

• Preparing and delivering meals for hosts, skippers and dock staff;

• Preparing and delivering barbecue boxes;

• Supporting with other logistical and operational tasks at the office and around the boats.

Important: This is physically demanding work. You will lift heavy items and stay active throughout your shift. You must also feel comfortable cycling through Amsterdam in all weather conditions.

Your responsibilities

We offer a flexible part-time job in Amsterdam with a strong focus on weekend work. This gives you plenty of time during the week for school, studies or other activities. Looking for more hours? We are happy to explore combination roles within our canal cruise company. You can also expect:

• Weekend work from April 2026 and extra hours during holidays;

• The possibility to work multiple days per week from June;

About Flagship Amsterdam

Flagship Amsterdam is a young and fast-growing canal cruise company in the heart of Amsterdam. We offer both public canal cruises and private boat tours on our beautiful open boats and classic saloon boats. What started in 2017 with three boats has now grown into more than 60 boats, and we continue to expand.

Job requirements

Are you ready to bring your energy and hands-on mentality to the fastest-growing canal cruise company in Amsterdam?

• You are between 16 and 18 years old;

• You are available to work during weekends;

• You are physically strong and willing to do active work, such as lifting crates and moving materials;

• You are an experienced cyclist and feel comfortable and safe cycling through Amsterdam traffic, even in bad weather;

• You live in Amsterdam or nearby;

• You speak Dutch and/or English;

• You are motivated, practical and enjoy getting things done.
