Flagship Amsterdam is a young, fast-growing canal cruise company located in the heart of Amsterdam. We offer both public and private cruises on our beautiful open boats and classic saloon boats. What started in 2017 with just three boats has now grown to a fleet of over 60 boats, and we continue to expand! Every year, we welcome guests from more than 55 different countries, and we operate year-round. This is made possible by our young and ambitious team of over 400 (seasonal) employees.

Flagship Amsterdam consists of nine different entities, such as Voyage Amsterdam and Captain Jack. Each entity has unique products and caters to a specific target audience. What are you going to do? 

As a Logistic Harbor Master (Evening Shift) at Flagship Amsterdam, you will be responsible for overseeing and organizing our harbor during the evening hours. You will be in charge of receiving, loading, and keeping our boats clean. You will supervise the fleet, assist the captains, and ensure everything runs smoothly in the harbor. In this role, you have more responsibility than a harbor worker and you will not have to do as much physical work.

What will you do?

• Receive the boats at the end of the workday and ensure they are ready for the next day;

• Coordinate the loading and unloading of boats and monitor stock levels;

• Assist captains with arrivals and departures;

• Keep the boats and harbor facilities clean;

• Offer a welcoming and professional reception to captains and other staff members;

• Ensure everything in the harbor runs safely and efficiently.

• You speak Dutch and/or English;

• You are available in the evenings and on weekends;

• You are available at least two evenings per week;

• You have a responsible and organizational mindset;

• You work carefully, pay attention to detail, and can maintain a good overview;

• Experience in a similar role is a plus, but not required;

• You have a flexible attitude and can handle unexpected situations.
