What you will do

As a host on the Tyson 2.0 Smoke Cruise, you are responsible for creating a memorable guest experience. You welcome guests on board, create a relaxed atmosphere, and entertain them with stories about Amsterdam, hemp, and cannabis.

Practical details

• Location: Amsterdam Center.

• Employment type: Flexible side job / Part-time.

• Working hours: Variable shifts (including willingness to work in the evenings)

• Start date: As soon as possible.

Your responsibilities

• You welcome guests on board with a smile;

• You create a relaxed, welcoming, and inclusive atmosphere during the Tyson 2.0 Smoke Cruise;

• You share engaging stories about Amsterdam, its canals, and the world of hemp and cannabis (don't worry, we'll teach you everything you need to know);

• You serve drinks and snacks on board;

• You answer guests' questions and ensure they have a unique and unforgettable experience;

• You work closely with the skipper to ensure every cruise is safe, smooth, and enjoyable. 🚤🍃✨

Job requirements

At Captain Jack, we are looking for hosts who are hospitable, independent, and flexible. You enjoy working in a team and have a hands-on mentality. Additionally:

• You are 18 years or older and live in (or around) Amsterdam;

• You are available for at least 2 days a week, including at least one weekend day;

• You are willing to work evenings until a maximum of 22:00;

• You have strong communication skills and can convey information clearly and hospitably;

• You speak English well (other languages are a plus, but not required);

• You preferably have experience in hospitality or as a host/hostess (this is a plus, not a strict requirement).
