What will you do

As a Front Desk Employee at Flagship Bike Tour Amsterdam, you are the first point of contact for our guests and an essential link in the daily operation. In this role, you combine hospitality, organizational skills, and hands-on work on the floor with administrative tasks behind the computer.

You are not only handling administration or phone calls, but also actively helping to ensure that tours run smoothly: from checking guests in and out to preparing the bikes and supporting the guide team. You provide a warm welcome, maintain oversight, and switch quickly when something needs to be resolved.

Your responsibilities

As a Front Desk Employee, you ensure a professional, energetic, and welcoming start to every tour. Your tasks include, among other things:

• Checking guests in and out;

• Giving guests a warm and friendly welcome;

• Assisting with the start of tours and welcoming tours back upon return;

• Ensuring tours depart on time;

• Preparing the bikes;

• Combining hands-on tasks with front desk and computer work;

• Maintaining contact with the guide team;

• Troubleshooting when needed and acting in a solution-oriented manner.

Requirements

• Excellent command of the English language;

• Flexibility to work in various shifts, including evenings and weekends;

• Preferably available for a minimum of 2 days per week, including at least one weekend day;

• Empathetic and patient when dealing with complaints or challenging situations.
