About Flagship Amsterdam

Flagship Amsterdam is a young, fast-growing canal cruise company located in the heart of Amsterdam. We offer both public and private cruises on our beautiful open boats and classic saloon boats. What started in 2017 with just three boats has now grown to a fleet of over 60 boats, and we continue to expand! Every year, we welcome guests from more than 55 different countries, and we operate year-round. This is made possible by our young and ambitious team of over 400 (seasonal) employees.

Flagship Amsterdam consists of nine different entities, such as Voyage Amsterdam and Captain Jack. Each entity has unique products and caters to a specific target audience. We have a strong growth mindset and are constantly seeking new opportunities to further strengthen our position in the market.

About the Cookie Cruise

The Cookie Cruise is a unique collaboration between Flagship Amsterdam and Het Koekemannetje. During this trendy cruise, we spoil our guests with fresh cookies, matcha, and delicious cocktails, while sailing through the iconic canals of Amsterdam. This is not just any canal cruise; this is a unique experience that you will bring to life with love and passion!

What will you do?

As a Cookie Cruise Host, you are the ultimate mood-maker on board the most Instagrammable cruise in Amsterdam. You ensure that guests not only enjoy the delicious cookies, but also your enthusiasm, energy, and stories. You are entertainer, matcha-maker, cookie connoisseur, and local guide in one!

Your responsibilities:

●     Warmly welcome guests on board with a big smile;

●     Serve our Cookie Cruise specials: including fresh cookies, cocktails, and matcha;

●     Enthusiastically share fun facts about Amsterdam and Het Koekemannetje;

●     Create a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere on board;

●     Upsell extras and ensure an unforgettable overall experience;

●     Handle payments at the end of the cruise;

●     Own the experience! You make sure everything runs smoothly and guests leave the boat with a big smile.

Who are we looking for?

●     You are available at least 2 days per week (including at least 1 day in the weekend);

●     You are outgoing, hospitable, and enthusiastic about the Cookie Cruise;

●     You have a passion for hospitality and storytelling;

●     You are commercially minded and know how to upsell extras in a natural way;

●     You speak fluent English (Dutch is a plus);

●     You are 18 years or older;

●     Experience in hospitality or entertainment is a plus, but not required: enthusiasm is more important!

●     You are willing to host other Flagship tours as well, in consultation.
