Planner

What will you do?

As a Planner, you ensure that our boats operate smoothly and efficiently every day, from early morning until late evening. You’ll work in a dynamic environment where tourism, hospitality, and teamwork come together, acting as the key link aligning planning, staff, and operations.

Practical details

• Hours: 24–32 hours per week;

• Salary: All-in gross hourly wage of €18.71 (including holiday allowance and paid leave);

• Working hours: Office hours, Monday through Sunday;

• Contract type: Part-time;

• Start date: As soon as possible, preferably April (no later than May) 2026.

Your responsibilities

• Conduct planning meetings with (new) employees;

• Maintain good communication with all skippers, hosts, and dock staff;

• Handle planning-related questions and redirect when necessary;

• Schedule staff and create shifts;

• Follow up on action points after meetings and update preferences and notes;

• Approve shifts;

• Develop alternative scenarios when workload deviates from forecasts;

• Create and monitor both long-term and short-term planning;

• Brief crews prior to their shifts.

Job Requirements

The ideal Planner is accurate, sociable, organized, and enthusiastic, with a hands-on mentality. You enjoy a dynamic environment and handle changes and challenges well. The planning team operates from Monday to Sunday, so flexibility is important—you are expected to work at least one weekend day and are entitled to two consecutive days off.

Additionally:

• You have an MBO+ / HBO level of education and thinking

• You are a strong communicator in both Dutch and English

• You are available at least two days per week, including at least one weekend day

• You are detail-oriented and analytical, and enjoy solving scheduling puzzles
