Customer Service Representative

What will you do?

As a Customer Service Employee, you will mainly be responsible for answering questions from our customers via phone and email. This will mainly involve handling general inquiries, processing cancellations, and rescheduling reservations. You will also be the first point of contact for customers who visit the office and have questions in person. In addition, you will support our skippers and hosts with the distribution of work uniforms and other company equipment, such as card payment terminals.

Location: Amsterdam
Employment type: Part-time (8–16 hours per week, flexible availability) based on a zero-hour contract
Working hours: Days, evenings, and weekends

Your responsibilities

• Answering customer questions via phone and email;

• Handling general customer inquiries;

• Processing cancellations;

• Rescheduling reservations;

• Assisting customers at the office and answering walk-in questions;

• Supporting skippers and hosts with the distribution of uniforms and other company equipment;

• Ensuring friendly and smooth service, both over the phone and on site.

Job requirements

• Excellent command of the English language;

• Flexibility to work different shifts, including evenings and weekends;

• Availability for at least 2 days per week, including one weekend day;

• Empathetic and patient when dealing with complaints or challenging situations.
