Flagship Amsterdam is a young, fast-growing canal cruise company located in the heart of Amsterdam. We offer both public and private cruises on our beautiful open boats and classic saloon boats. Flagship Amsterdam consists of nine different entities, such as Voyage Amsterdam and Captain Jack. Each entity has unique products and caters to a specific target audience. What will you be doing? 

As an Electrical Technician, you are responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems on board our electric boats. You work closely with other technical departments to ensure that the electrical installations function optimally and comply with applicable safety and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities: 

• Installing and connecting electrical components and systems, such as motors, battery packs, inverters, and charging systems;
• Performing preventive maintenance and inspections on electrical installations;
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting faults in electrical systems and equipment;
• Collaborating with shipbuilders, technicians, and other engineers to ensure the integration of electrical systems;
• Testing electrical installations to guarantee safety and functionality;
• Keeping up with the latest technological developments in electric propulsion and charging techniques;
• Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and safety guidelines.

• 32 to 40 hours per week; 
• Salary between €2500-€3500 based on 40 hours per week as an employee (depending on your experience);

Requirements: 

• MBO or HBO degree in the field of electrical engineering, marine electrical engineering, or a similar field;
• Experience with electrical systems, preferably in the maritime sector;
• Problem-solving skills and a meticulous working style;
• You reside near Amsterdam;
• You are motivated and proactive;
• You speak English or Dutch.
